以前、AppleNAppsが、新型MacBook AirとOS X Lionは7月19日にリリースと伝えていましたが、どうもこの噂の信憑性は高そうです。

Appleは、OS X Lionを完成させましたが、今回パケージの販売を行わないため、OS X Lionリリース後、現在の「Mac OS X Snow Leopard」と、iLife ‘11とのセット「Mac Box Set」などを返品回収するさい、変わりに納品差し替えする製品がないため、流通在庫数を減らし、返品数を削減出来るよう時間をかけているようです。

また、通常のMacも、徐々にOS X Lionインストールモデルに変更し、製品パッケージの入替が出来るだけスムーズに行えるよう準備を行っているようです。
