yaruo: zono: flexlife: kml: 米レイセオン、次世代無人偵察機「キラービー」の新映像を公開 - Technobahn 2008/10/3 20:46 UTC − 米レイセオン社は米海兵隊と米海軍の偵察任務用に開発を進めている次世代無人偵察機「キラービー（KillerBee＝殺人蜂）」の飛行テストの映像を公開した。 キラービーはブレンデッド・ウィングを採用することで機体全体で浮力を得ると同時に、機体の軽量化を図った小型無人偵察機。翼幅は6.5フィート（約2メートル）で約9キロのペイロードを搭載して最大24時間の連続飛行を目指して、現在開発が進められている。 軽量な機体の利点を活かして専用カタパルトを使って離陸、回収は地上に張られたネットを使って行うことが可能で、飛行場が無くても離着陸が可能なことが大きな利点の一つともなっている。米海軍ではこの利点を活かして船舶を拠点とした運用の可能性などの実験も進めている。 米軍では現在、偵察任務の分野では主流を占めているMQ-1「プレデター（Predator）」では飛行が困難な低空での偵察任務用途にこの開発中の機体を利用することを計画している。

キラービーはブレンデッド・ウィングを採用することで機体全体で浮力を得ると同時に、機体の軽量化を図った小型無人偵察機。翼幅は6.5フィート（約2メートル）で約9キロのペイロードを搭載して最大24時間の連続飛行を目指して、現在開発が進められている。
